Cardiovascular Technologist - Radiologic Imaging Specialist
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining equipment, providing patient care, and collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Job Summary
- Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completed an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Held current certifications in Radiography (ARRT) or RCIS (CV/CI/VI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training, which is required during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Salary and Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
