Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in our cardiovascular program, providing patient care and collaborating with cardiologists to ensure seamless procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, maintaining a sterile environment, and precepting new hires and radiology students. This position requires certification in radiologic technology and an emphasis on professional development and patient care excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in radiologic technology, with either an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program degree. A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred. You must be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or hold Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS. Advanced Life Support training within 6 months of hire is also required.
