Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team.
- This role involves preparing equipment and patients for procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- You will work closely with cardiologists to provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate care and support.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Participate in downtime activities, such as stocking rooms and checking equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Interventions Specialist (RCIS).
- Previous experience in a procedural area, preferably in a Cath Lab setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training to be completed within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
