About Our Catheterization Laboratory
Norman Regional Health System's state-of-the-art cardiovascular program is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab RT, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment and providing essential patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment and adheres to strict quality standards.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Qualifications and Education
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, with current BLS maintained throughout employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
