Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, recognized for workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program seeks a Registered Technologist to expand our services. We are poised to move into a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Participates in preceptorship for new hires and radiology students, contributing to staff orientation
- Maintains downtime by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements include completion of Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months, all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months, completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
Preferred experience includes previous Procedural Area experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration requirements include American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training prior to providing patient care. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
