Overview
Norman Regional Health System has established itself as a leader in workplace excellence, nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. With an innovative cardiovascular program and a new Critical Care Tower on the horizon, we are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to expand our program.
- We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- To complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- To complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
