We are nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, serving our community with compassion and expertise. Our cardiovascular program is expanding, and we seek experienced Registered Technologists to join our team.
As we prepare to move into our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, we will have advanced facilities, including three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, providing comprehensive care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
- Patient Assessment: Identify and assess patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for care while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice: Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to departmental policies and industry standards.
- Mentorship and Education: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and fostering professional growth.
- Equipment Maintenance: Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge persons or managers.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Compensation and Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
