Job Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless operations.
- Patient Assessment: Identify and assess patient conditions to provide optimal care.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment for procedures.
- Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, ensuring smooth onboarding and orientation.
- Professional Development: Maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have completed an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT or RCIS. Additionally, previous procedural area experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
