Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Department at Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic CV Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care within the cardiovascular department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
