Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Assess patient conditions and provide personalized care to meet their unique needs.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing expertise and knowledge to ensure successful onboarding.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other delegated tasks to maintain a smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred, but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS training within six months of hire.
