Responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Patient care and support during Cath Lab procedures, including preparation, positioning, and providing necessary care.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment to ensure safe and effective treatment of patients.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and training on department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) eligibility or current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Previous procedural area experience preferred, but not required.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
