The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join its team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of the Cath Lab team, you will play a crucial role in preparing for cardiovascular procedures, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
This position requires experience in the Cath Lab, along with certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art medical facility.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiac Catheterization Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
