Role Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist is an integral member of our interventional cardiology team at Norman Regional Health System. This dynamic role requires a highly skilled professional to assist in the preparation and execution of complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration between radiology, cardiology, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch patient care by identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients, and establishing a sterile environment.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth procedure execution.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
- Current BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire are required.
