What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our cardiovascular team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Foster strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.
