About Us
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and we are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our cardiovascular program. Our team collaborates with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to ensure high-quality cardiac care.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Catheterization Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have experience working in procedural areas, be proficient in patient preparation and positioning, and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Additionally, they will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms and checking equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, be eligible and/or current ARRT Registered and/or RCIS, and possess certifications such as Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI). Basic Life Support training is required during orientation, and ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire. A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred but not required.
