What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab and Radiology Professional Needed position at Norman Regional Health System?
We are seeking a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments.
You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime effectively. Our ideal candidate will have a completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility, and/or current RCIS registration. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
Additionally, American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, and/or RCIS registration, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, BLS training, and ACLS training within 6 months of hire are requirements for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff
