What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Norman Regional Health System, a beacon of workplace excellence, is seeking a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand its innovative cardiovascular program. Our team works with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower.
Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
- Completes Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
