What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Overview: Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system that has emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program is looking for a Registered Technologist to expand our team and work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities: Prepares equipment before and during procedures, identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares and positions patients for care, maintains a sterile environment, serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications: A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred, registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, Basic Life Support (BLS) training required, Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
