Cath Lab CV Imaging Specialist Job Description
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, offering an innovative cardiovascular program.
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Imaging Specialist to expand our cardiovascular program in our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a procedural area and be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and maintaining equipment for cardiovascular procedures
- Providing patient care and ensuring a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Key qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification required, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
