Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, adhering to stringent protocols.
- Identify and assess patient conditions, providing tailored care and positioning patients appropriately.
- Establish and maintain aseptic environments to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and mentoring process.
- Utilize downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to foster exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months and achieve all competencies outlined in department policy within the same timeframe.
Education and Experience
Hold a formal 24-month Radiologic Technology program certificate or equivalent, with eligibility and/or current RCIS certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in procedural areas is highly valued.
Licensure and Certification
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with RCIS certification preferred. Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) training and re-training required during orientation prior to patient care. Current BLS certification must be maintained throughout employment, with ACLS training to be achieved within six months of hire and continued until employment end.
