Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist role involves preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment in a state-of-the-art facility. This position requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, including serving as a preceptor for new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.
