The specialist serves as a preceptor for new hires and students, ensuring seamless integration into the team.

Responsibilities
This position entails:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Evaluating patient condition and providing tailored care
- Maintaining a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Providing educational support to new hires and radiology students
- Utilizing downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks
- Fostering strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Registered and/or RCIS certification
- Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current Basic Life Support required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
