What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab CV Rad Specialist position at Norman Regional Health System?
We are seeking a talented Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, supporting a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
The ideal candidate will have certification as a Radiologic Technologist and ongoing training in Basic and Advanced Life Support. They will also require certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and have experience working in a Cath Lab environment.
About the Role:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for cardiovascular procedures
- Provide patient care during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
