Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area.
We are seeking a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program, expanding our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment and ensuring patient care within a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
