About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterilization during cardiovascular procedures. They will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and cardiovascular imaging. They should be able to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to ongoing professional education and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care are essential qualities for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Salary : $28 - $45
