This position requires certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology or Cardiovascular Intervention and proficiency in maintaining professional relationships with physicians. With ongoing training and professional development, you will contribute to the hospital's award-winning cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of equipment and procedural areas for optimal functionality
- Assessment and provision of patient care to meet individualized needs
- Maintenance of sterile environments to prevent infection and promote healing
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participating in staff orientation
- Utilizing downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
Requirements
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, with Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation, with current BLS maintenance throughout employment
Compensation and Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
