Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Opportunity
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our cardiovascular program. This individual will play a vital role in preparing equipment and providing exceptional patient care in a leading healthcare setting.
About the Role:
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures, ensuring seamless execution of medical procedures.
- Patient assessment, preparation, and positioning for optimal outcomes.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment, upholding the highest standards of infection control.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Utilization of downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Nurturing strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
- Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire.
