Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition
- Prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
Professional Practice
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership
Qualifications
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Licensure and Certification
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - ARRT
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
