Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a vital member of our cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a formal program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current registration as a Registered Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or a related field.
Experience
Previous experience working in a Cath Lab or a related procedural area preferred.
Compensation
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
