The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in supporting the cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. This position involves collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, along with responsibilities for training new hires and students.
This is a unique opportunity for professional growth in a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications, including American Registry of Radiologic Technology and/or RCIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
