Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Job Description
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- BLS Certification and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
