Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential conditions that may impact their care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support throughout the orientation process.
- Utilize downtime effectively by completing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing other delegated duties.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration or current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training to be completed within six months of hire.
