As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will be responsible for preparing medical equipment for cardiovascular procedures and ensuring a sterile environment. You will also train new staff and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare medical equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Participate in the training of new staff members and radiology students.
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Previous experience in a procedural area is preferred but not required.
- Training: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training completed within six months of hire.
