Our team is seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System. This role requires certification in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology and offers various employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
