The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires completion of training in Cath Lab procedures and strong collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires completion of training in Cath Lab procedures and strong collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning and providing patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilizing downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Prior Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.

Salary : $28 - $45
