What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Our team is seeking a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to play a crucial role in our innovative cardiovascular program. The ideal candidate will have certification in Radiologic Technology and experience working in a Cath Lab environment. They will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring excellent patient care while collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
As a member of our team, you will work in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
