We will soon be moving to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

**Responsibilities**
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintaining strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
**Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Completed all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
**Education**
The successful candidate will have:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS
**Experience**
Prior procedural area experience is preferred.
**Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.**
The ideal candidate will hold:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification
- Cardiovascular (CV), (CI), or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
**Compensation**
The compensation package includes:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
