As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, I prepare and operate equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment. I assess patient conditions, provide care, and educate new staff and students.
Overview:
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system with an innovative cardiovascular program. We have nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Assesses patient condition and prepares patient care
- Maintains sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Maintains professional working relationship with physicians and leadership
Qualifications:
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology eligible and/or current RCIS
- Prior Procedural Area experience preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
