Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS at Norman Regional Health System
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in the cardiovascular program by preparing and providing care during procedures in a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Provides preceptorship for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
