Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as the ability to mentor new hires and support patient care through direct involvement in procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
