Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential risks and developing effective care plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Utilize downtime efficiently, prioritizing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and collaborating with Charge persons or managers.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership, fostering open communication and exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification, required within six months of hire.
