The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
Job Summary:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
Responsibilities:
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participates in the orientation of new staff
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- BLS training required, ACLS certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire
