Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Position
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in the cardiovascular program by preparing and assisting with procedures while ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program or military program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
