Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures, including medical equipment, to ensure a safe and effective environment for patients.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, providing patient care that is tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintains a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff and ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
- Uses downtime effectively by completing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated duties assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Develops and maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.

- Preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
Education and Experience:
Candidates should possess:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
