Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in downtime activities such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Requirements
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
