What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab Equipment Technician position at Norman Regional Health System?
Job Summary:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients as needed
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration, Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
