Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, your responsibilities will include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff and utilizing downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Radiologic Technology, holding certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS). They must also have excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, they should possess basic life support training and be able to maintain current certification through re-training. Advanced life support training is required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
