The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. As a key member of the cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
This role involves collaboration with a team of cardiologists and requires strong communication skills to ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients for care
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for ARRT certification and/or current RCIS
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or Registration from Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required, ACLS within 6 months of hire
