Medical Imaging Professional - Cath Lab Job Description:
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Professional to join our Cath Lab team. This role involves preparing medical equipment, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with cardiologists to deliver exceptional patient care. Candidates must have experience in the Cath Lab and hold relevant certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a sterile environment to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Prepares patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and minimizing anxiety.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop effective treatment plans.
- Participates in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program.
- ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS certification is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
