Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintains a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing other delegated tasks as assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Fosters strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred but not required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) training, are mandatory.
